Privacy Policy

GDP Audio LLC · Effective date: October 5, 2026

This policy explains what information GDP Audio LLC ("GDP Audio", "we", "us") collects when you visit gdpaudio.com, buy or use our audio plugins, or contact us, and what we do with it. The short version: our plugins don't collect anything, we never sell your information, and we only keep what we need to deliver your purchase and help you.

Our plugins don't collect data

Our plugins work entirely offline. They do not connect to the internet, do not send usage statistics, crash reports or analytics, and do not "phone home" to check your license. License validation happens on your own computer.

The plugins store two kinds of files on your computer, and nowhere else:

• Your license — saved in a "GDP Audio" folder in your user Application Support (macOS) or AppData (Windows) folder.

• Your presets and settings — saved in the same kind of location.

These files stay on your computer. You can delete them at any time; uninstalling a plugin removes its presets but keeps the license so you don't need to re-activate after reinstalling. License files do not contain your name or email address.

Purchases (FastSpring)

Our online store is operated by FastSpring, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. When you buy a plugin, you are buying from FastSpring, which collects and processes your payment and billing information (such as your name, email address, billing address and payment details), calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, issues your invoice and delivers your license by email. We never see or store your payment card details.

FastSpring handles this information under its own privacy policy: https://fastspring.com/privacy/

FastSpring shares order information with us so we can support you — typically your name, email address, country, what you bought and when. We use it only to provide the product, answer support requests, process refunds, keep business and tax records, and prevent fraud.

Our website

gdpaudio.com is hosted by Squarespace. Like most websites, Squarespace automatically processes basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the referring site — and uses cookies needed to run and secure the site. It may also use cookies to produce aggregated visitor statistics for us. Squarespace handles this under its own privacy policy: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy

We do not use this information to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising trackers on our site.

Do Not Track: our site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because we do not track you across other websites.

When you contact us

If you email us (for example at support@gdpaudio.com), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation in case you contact us again.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only:

• with the service providers described above (FastSpring for purchases, Squarespace for our website, and our email provider for support email), each of which processes it to provide its service;

• when required by law, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud; and

• with a buyer or successor if GDP Audio's business is ever sold or transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed to support your license and to meet tax and accounting obligations (generally up to seven years). We keep support emails for as long as they're useful for helping you, and delete them when they're no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@gdpaudio.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it (for example, for tax purposes). For information held by FastSpring about your purchase, you can also contact FastSpring directly.

Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have additional rights under local privacy law, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will honor these rights where they apply.

Children

Our products and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

GDP Audio is based in the United States. If you contact us or buy from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and in the countries where our service providers operate.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but because our plugins collect no data and payment details are handled by FastSpring, the information we hold about you is minimal.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will make that clear on this page before it takes effect.
